RallycrossRX: François Duval to race at Lohéac

duval2015faleyrasVIEL

Few weeks after his EuroRX outing in Belgium, François Duval will make his second assault in Loheac during the 9th round of the FIA World Rallycross Championship. The belgian Rally ace will be at the wheel of the Pailler Competition Peugeot 208 SuperCar in front of the biggest audience of the season with more than 70 000 fans.

Already winner of the 4th round of the French Rallycross championship race in Faleyras circuit this year, François Duval is going to embark for the second time of the season with Pailler Compétition into the most prestigious stage of the FIA WorldRX season.

François will have the opportunity to capitalize with his knowledge of the french track where he grabbed a 4th place during the 2011 season. Known as one of the most faster Rally driver of the planet on asphalt, it seems that François would be a serious contender for a Top 12 spot.

Jean-Luc Pailler - Team Principal Pailler Compétition

"I'm proud to have François by our side for the French round of the FIA WorldRX Championship. There are really strong links between François and our team since the 2011 season. His victory grabbed against really serious contenders in France in late june is another prove that François will have no problem to tackle his new challenge with us. He's a natural talent and he's fast whatever the tracks or conditions he has to face off. I'm confident about the fact that François will be a serious challenger in Lohéac in next september"

François Duval - Peugeot 208 Pailler Compétition

"It's nice to be able to race at Lohéac. It's a really prestigious event with so many fans and I'm also happy to come back at the wheel of the Pailler Compétition Peugeot 208 SuperCar. I've won few weeks ago in French Rallycross Championship with a quiet similar car, so I have enough knowledge to be fast right from the beginning. The last time I've race at Lohéac was in 2011. It's not an easy way to be fast there because the track is very rough and demanding for the tyres. You need to be smart and clean at Lohéac to avoid to loose your car efficiency. There is a strong drivers line-up for this event. It's nice to see Yvan Muller able to join the party. I know him well, but fighting against some of my formers WRC colleagues is one the reason why I really like Rallycross. In a same way than the others 40 riders, the main objectif is going to make the cut for the semis"
