Details

Andreas Carlsson
Sweden

Andreas Carlsson is 24 years old. Lives and works in Säffle as a workshop coach / supervisor at Brandt in Säffle who is a Volvo and Ford workshop before he was Personal Se.

Then he runs his own Rallycros team in the top class Supercar.

His team consists of friends and family where everyone has regular jobs, so all the time spent on this is in their spare time after work and on weekends. Most of the team are friends aged 22-27 years, which is why this is so they are a very old team with a huge drive!

Andreas started with crosscards in 2009 and then drove 125cc. Already a year later, the 2010 season he had many nice results. Among other things, victory in NEZ (North European Zone), Victory in JSM (junior SM), Victory in the Sprint Cup, victory in the IC Cup and second place in the Norwegian NM.

In 2011 he joined two classes and started with 650cc, which is the largest class, where Andreas was involved in developing C-Pro in 2012, 2013, 2014 and who is today the leading cross-chart manufacturer.

2015 was the year when the Team got a good order on the map and the engines, and just had to think about driving. This resulted in excellent results and victory in the highest championship NEZ. A third place in the SM, and victory in the Sprint Cup.

In 2016, Andreas only invested in the Swedish Championships and then took an SM gold in sprint special during the Swedish Week in Norrköping. This is live on SVT 1 with the highest viewership figures during the entire SM week. Ended this year as third in the Swedish Championships.

In 2017 he ran 8 competitions and won 7 of these, 1 in the Swedish Cup and 5 in the Swedish Championships where I have won all and became completely undefeated Swedish champion!

In 2018, he and his team together with Nilsson's Plåtindustri AB and UNIC-Transmissions built their own Supercar from scratch. The car is built on a Renault Clio 3 RS. None of us have built anything like it before so it has been a major challenge for everyone involved. The 2018 season went far beyond expectation given our low budget and the tough opposition where most are large teams with a lot of experience and a large budget.
